What are your terms?
There is no minimum subscription term - you can pause, change or cancel your subscription at any time.
Your subscription will renew each week or fortnight (depending on the frequency you have chosen) until you cancel.
You can also choose to make a one time purchase without the need to sign up to a regular subscription.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver to most areas in Christchurch. Your produce will be purchased from the Riverside Market fresh in the morning, and delivered to you that afternoon. Some outer areas of Christchurch may incur a small delivery fee or be delivered a day later.

Do you deliver throughout New Zealand?
At this stage we only deliver Christchurch wide. This is because we want you to receive your produce as fresh as possible - the same day that it was purchased from the Riverside Market.
When will my box be delivered?
If you place an order before midnight on a Thursday, you will receive your order before 6pm on the following Tuesday. While we endeavour to deliver on a Tuesday wherever possible, some areas of wider Christchurch may need to be delivered overnight. If this affects you we will be in touch. Riverside Market Box will always endeavour to deliver within the specified window, but may from time to time be delayed.
What if I am not home to receive the delivery?
If you are not home to receive your Riverside Market Box, the delivery will be left according to your delivery instructions. The box includes an ice pack so can be left for several hours if necessary. If no instructions are provided, the box will be left at the front door by default and a message sent to your mobile phone or email address.
When do I need to order?
You will need to place your order for a Riverside Market Box by midnight on a Thursday for delivery the following Tuesday. Any orders received after this time will automatically be set for delivery the week after.
How much is shipping?
Delivery is FREE for any addresses in the Christchurch metro area. If you live in the wider Christchurch / Canterbury area your delivery may be a day later or you may be charged a small delivery fee - we will be in touch if this affects you.
What are the deadlines for making changes?
Our cut-off date for changes to your order, cancellations or skipping your next week’s Riverside Market Box is midnight on Thursday. After this time we’re unable to process changes due to locking in food orders with our suppliers. The cut-off for updating your delivery address and changing your delivery time is also Thursday at midnight to ensure our couriers are able to route plan with our logistics team. Can I cancel my order and receive a refund?
You can cancel your order and receive a refund if we are notified before midnight on the Thursday before the delivery is scheduled. Please email email@example.com with the details of your order and we will notify you that your request has been received, as well as whether or not you are eligible for a refund. We process refunds once a week.
How long will it take to process a refund?
We process refunds once a week. When a refund is processed by us, it will leave our account by the end of the day. After this the time it takes to appear in your account is subject to your bank's refund time frames. This can take up to ten working days, so if you're noticing a delay we recommend contacting your bank for an update.
Will there be an authorisation, hold or pending charge?
In order to check whether a card being registered with our system is active we may process an authorisation when you sign up.
What is an authorisation charge?
An authorisation charge is a charge which checks whether or not the card being added is active and able to receive automatic charges. These charges never complete and are immediately voided.
Important note: When you make a purchase from Riverside Market Box, occasionally the transaction will show as ‘pending’. This means that your bank has authorised the payment but has not yet billed it to your account. Depending on your banks process, it can take as little as a few hours or up to 10 days to bill your account. Please note that ‘pending’ transactions will affect your credit balance immediately as if the amount has already been billed
How does payment work?
Payment for your Riverside Market Box is made securely by credit or debit cards (with credit card capability) using Stripe.
